As it's name large white butterfly is type of butterfly that have large body and wings as we see in the pictures above, The large white butterfly's wings are white, with black tips on the forewings of both of the males and females, the large white butterfly female also has two black spots on each forewing that it's underside is a pale greenish and serves as excellent camouflage when at rest. The black markings are generally darker in the summer brood. Its wingspan is 5 to 6.5 cm.

Large white butterfly is include the family of Pieridae, this large white butterfly has Latin nam "Pieris brassicae" that also are called Cabbage Butterfly, Cabbage White, or in India the Large Cabbage White.
